AMCARDILLO_design è un marchio italiano nato nel 2013 ad opera dell’architetto Anna Maria Cardillo, che grazie all’esperienza maturata nell’ambito della progettazione architettonica e di industrial design, decide di assecondare anche la passione verso il mondo dei bijoux, realizzando manufatti resi preziosi dalla forte artigianalità e unicità, nonché dal concept che si nasconde dietro ogni creazione. Le sue collezioni, per tipologia, si inseriscono nella attuale categoria di “bijoux contemporanei”, con un forte carattere segnico, mediante l’utilizzo di forme e linee spesso semplici e con un chiaro riferimento alle geometrie elementari; sono il risultato di un’attenta ricerca, in cui si denota il giusto equilibro tra colore, materiale e dimensione e la esatta combinazione tra i volumi e le forme, senza perdere di vista il requisito della indossabilità, caratteristiche fondamentali in questo tipo di processo creativo. La ricerca e l’utilizzo di materiali alternativi e comunque diversi rispetto a quelli comunemente utilizzati nella realizzazione dei bijoux, caratterizza le sue creazioni realizzate interamente a mano a discapito della quantità, sottolineando l’importanza della produzione artigianale, del pezzo unico e del “mai uguale”. Dal 2014 è socio dell’AGC – Associazione Gioiello Contemporaneo. Selezionata a Gennaio 2015 al Progetto “Dialoghi AGC-JJDA” mostra itinerante sul gioiello contemporaneo in Giappone e in Italia. Partecipa al Concorso “Design 20.14” organizzato dall’associazione Gioiello Dentro e risulta tra i vincitori con il collare “FRAME”.
Anna Maria CARDILLO nasce a Foggia (Italia), si laurea in architettura presso l’Università degli Studi di Firenze. Nel 2001 frequenta il “MASTER IN TECNICHE SCENOGRAFICHE”: LA SOSTANZA DELL’APPARENZA”, presso l’ISTITUTO QUASAR di Roma e patrocinato dall’Ordine degli Architetti della Provincia di Roma. Svolge l’attività di libero professionista nell’ambito della progettazione architettonica, di architettura d’interni, industrial design, allestimenti e scenografia e jewel design. Nel 2012 apre il suo laboratorio creativo e artigianale per la progettazione e realizzazione di accessori e “bijoux contemporanei”, dove l’interesse verso la sperimentazione di materiali e tecniche di lavorazione sfocia nella realizzazione di manufatti resi preziosi dalla forte artigianalità e unicità, nonché dal concept che si nasconde dietro ogni creazione; nel 2013 il laboratorio si concretizza nella registrazione del marchio AMCardillo_design. Le sue creazioni sono esposte in mostre temporanee e gallerie in Italia e all’estero. Nel 2012 è cofondatrice, con l’Arch. Leonardo Rossano e l’Arch. Paolo D’Ippolito, del marchio “CODICE” brand di autoproduzione di complementi di arredo, nato per esprimere un design contemporaneo e personale, un design che rinnovi il rapporto forma-funzione in modo consapevole e attento ai materiali e alle forme.

Her creations are exhibited in galleries and exhibitions in Italy and abroad. In 2012 she co-founded, with Arch. Leonardo Rossano and the Arch. Paolo D’Ippolito, the brand “CODICE” of self-production of furnishing, created to express a contemporary design; a design that renews the relationship between form and function with the attention to the materials and shapes.
